About
All Dreams Foundation, a not-for-profit organization, is changing the lives of young boys and girls in the rural and urban parts of India, currently focused in Mumbai and Karnataka by empowering them to develop skills and knowledge to escape their disadvantageous backgrounds. All Dreams was founded in 2014 where it became operational in Colaba, Mumbai, India.
There are around 444 million children in India, as per the 2011 Census. Of this, 117 million comprise the rural population who are at most risk of child labor. Around 33 million children between the ages of 5-18 years are forced to work at tender ages due to the poor financial conditions of the family and lack of awareness about better education and quality of life.
Until very recently, India was a one-sport nation where Cricket reigned supreme. India, however, has started to change in the past decade as other sports are making an impression over the vast young population with Football, Kabadi, Basketball, Rugby and Hockey coming up quickly with their popularity.
Society tells everyone to fit in, we coach boys and girls to stand out. Through Rugby and Football, All Dreams provides young children with an opportunity to make their mark on the world. The sport serves as a powerful tool to combat child labor and poverty in-order to provide safe haven for these children to learn and grow. Leadership and Teamwork are powerful tools to promote education, livelihood and a chance at a better life.
All Dreams initially started with 7 boys and 1 girl in a single session organized by our founder with hundreds more having joined the program ever since. The Sports Development program today has over 1200 players under its wings and we hope to house more aspirant players every day.
We believe every child deserves the opportunity to
define their future, and change the world.
